SOUP (2023)
Overview:
SOUP considers how human intimacy is exchanged through domestic ritual. A simple meal of soup and bread, served in hand-blown glass tableware, becomes a documentation of tactile vulnerability.
The work embraces sentimentality to a fault. The fault is human error, encapsulated in the glass forms: crinkled, fragile, imperfect. An ode to the fragility of love, and all the ways we come together, despite.
